In October 2021 Ms. Chamberlain was selected to participate in WhatIf Venture Capital‘s Founder & Explorer Fellowship with a national scale behavioral health and wellbeing provider network model. In August 2021 she was a panelist for the Rise Healthcare Investing Summit. In May 2021, Ms. Chamberlain created ‘The Mental Substance’ which is her insights, experiences and ideas for the future of the field. Background
Ms. Chamberlain graduated from Mary Washington College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and the University of Georgia with a Master of Education degree in Health and Human Development, Community Counseling emphasis. She went on to complete a required four thousand clinical hours and sat for the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) examination to receive her license to practice as Licensed Professional Counselor, opening her first clinical practice in Athens Georgia when she was in her mid twenties. Since that time, she has served as a behavioral health professional across many settings and locations in the United States.
Achievements
Ms. Chamberlain is accomplished as a senior operations, contracts, consulting and client manager, program and provider manager in health care, quality of life, and well-being programs for Managed Care Organization (MCO), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Department of Defense (DoD) Quality of Life (QOL) and Hospital System settings.
She is a management professional providing clinical, allied health and well-being consultative and direct care services, education, recruiting and supervision for civilian hospital, inpatient and outpatient, and military settings locally and nationally in direct service delivery and call center environments.
In addition, Ms. Chamberlain is experienced in performance and quality measurement, and reporting as well as team support for National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and Joint Commission: Accreditation, Health Care, Certification (JCAHO) accreditation, reporting and re-credentialing, and Quality Control Programs (QCP) and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP).
She is also an employee talent engagement and well-being speaker, talent engagement and wellbeing management consultant & coach, subject matter expert, and writer for health care, employee assistance and well-being articles and materials.
